#16 – be an organ donor
There is no reason not to do this. You could directly help save lives. You could also help scientific researchers find new treatments or cures for diseases, cancers, infections, et cetera. Make sure your family knows.
#15 – live within your means
Don’t take on debt. Pay cash. Simplify your life if you need to.
#14 – walk outside
Every single day make it a point to walk outside. It can be ten feet, ten blocks, or ten miles.
#13 – make eye contact
Make eye contact when you walk down the street. Make eye contact with people when you talk to them. Smile. Be humane.
#12 – draw pictures with sidewalk chalk
Happy pictures that will make you and your neighbors smile.
#11 – don’t smoke
Don’t smoke cigarettes. Don’t smoke cigars. Don’t smoke pot. Don’t smoke hookah. Just don’t smoke. (Smoke salmon or ham or other meats if you get the urge to smoke something.)
#10 – eat fatty meat
Eat bacon. Eat hamburger. Eat salami. Eat like our ancestors. Small amounts of fatty meats are more satisfying than eating a lot of lean meats.
Plus it will make you happy.
#9 – take the stairs
It’s better for your health. And it’s a little badass. Cary Grant supposedly only took the stairs.
#8 – donate blood
If you are eligible, please donate your blood. Go for the snacks, stay for the saving lives.*
*I didn’t write that sentence, I saw it (or something close to it) in an online review for a blood donation center.
