Strengthen your core, and increase your balance by learning to balance on a balance board. It will seem impossible at first, but over time you will get better and better. Make sure you do it in a safe place, so if you lose your balance, you do not get hurt.

#89 – visit a quirky museum
We’ve all seen or heard about small, local museums dedicated to a specific topic. They can be about local history, a particular product, or type of art. Even the history of a business or location. Visit these museums. The Shell Museum. The SPAM Museum. The World’s Smallest Art Museum. You’ll get more out of the experience than you ever thought possible.
#88 – eat apples
You can eat them raw or cooked. Make homemade applesauce. Make apple strudel. Make apple crisp. Or have cinnamon baked apples on ice cream. Eat them sliced with caramel or peanut butter. Buy an apple peeler-corer-slicer. Watching the apple spin while a spiral of peel emerges brings fun and joy to processing the apples.
#87 – pets aren’t a right
Please don’t have pets if you can’t afford to take care of them. If you struggle with the cost to provide them with food, vet visits, litter, grooming, care, medicine, treatment for injury or illness, or have to make sacrifices to your life to afford those things (not paying bills or feeding yourself), then you should not have a pet. Having a pet is not a right, it is a responsibility.
#86 – help a teenager
Help a teenager if you can. You can mentor her. Listen to him. Be there for her to talk to. Give him advice. Teens need many positive role models in their lives.
#85 – eat dim sum
Who eats Chinese food for breakfast? About a billion Chinese people! If you can find a restaurant near you who offers it, go for dim sum! Dim sum is best eaten with others.
Enjoy steamed buns, noodles, potstickers, dumplings, and other delicious foods served in bamboo dishes off steam carts. Yum!
#84 – listen to the radio
Listen to random local stations. Listen to people telling their stories. Listen to atypical types of music. Listen in the car. At the beach. While doing yard work.
Take advantage of this free medium for entertainment.
#83 – keep a pair of “skinny jeans”
Keep a pair of jeans around that are just a wee bit smaller than your normal size. On those rare occasions when they fit you like a glove, your heart will sing with joy. They will make you feel happy, sexy, and lean.
#82 – fly standby
Have hours to kill before your flight? See if there is an earlier option, and get on the standby list. If the flight is near full, you could end up with an upgrade if it’s the only available seat. You get there earlier with perks? Win-win.
#78 – own a good corkscrew
Seems simple enough. Starting with a good corkscrew will prevent any frustration opening up the wine. Who wouldn’t want that?
