Everyone should be able to make some simple meals. If you are new to the kitchen, start with meals that involve little cooking (i.e. salads, sandwiches), and/or that don’t have a lot of ingredients. Take a cooking class to gain confidence. Watch instructional videos (cooking shows, Youtube videos, etc.). Order from a meal kit service if you aren’t sure what to buy. If possible, make extra and freeze or save your leftovers for the next day.

#103 – take a helicopter tour
If you ever get a chance to take a helicopter tour: do it! Flying and hovering above a city or landscape in a helicopter is exciting and the views you will witness will be unbelievable. Every trip is a once-in-a-lifetime experience you shouldn’t miss!
#99 – do a 30 day challenge
Whether it is a 30 day challenge to encourage you to read more, exercise, eat better, or get better at a hobby, 30 day challenges are less intimidating way to develop habits, skills, or just try something new. Track your finances (to the cent!) for 30 days. Run or walk outside 1 mile every day for 30 days. Cut fast food from your diet for 30 days. Get up 30 minutes earlier every day for 30 days. The options are endless.
#98 – paint
Pull out that tray of watercolor paints from elementary school, and paint a picture. It can be abstract. It can be realistic. It can be soft and flowing, or use saturated colors. Listen to music while you paint. You will find it calming and it will reawaken your creative side. Paint.
#95 – try trapeze
If you have the opportunity to try a trapeze class, do it! Hanging from a bar 20-30′ in the air, with a giant safety net below you, will give you a huge adrenaline rush. Try swinging by your arms. Try swinging by your legs. Somersault to dismount. If they allow it, even try doing a catch. It is exhilarating!
#93 – listen to records
There is something so nostalgic and beautiful about the analog sound that comes from a record. Plus there is the joy from simply using a record player: Pulling the record from the album sleeve. Setting the player speed to the correct setting. Aligning the needle at the edge of the record, or beginning of a particular song. The click when the turntable starts to rotate. Listen to records.
#92 – don’t tailgate
Tailgating wastes gas, because you are constantly having to hit the brakes, and then step on the gas pedal to get moving again. If you back off a bit, you will need to brake less, and can coast more.
Tailgating also puts you at higher risk of rear-ending another car, and if that happens, your car insurance could skyrocket. Just don’t do it. Don’t tailgate.
#91 – do something unexpected
Are you a city kid? Go for a hike in the woods. More comfortable in the country? Visit a nightclub in a city. Quiet introvert? Try standup. Life of the party? Learn to embroider. Exposing yourself to new and unexpected experiences will enrich your life, and you may discover a new passion.
#90 – try a balance board
Strengthen your core, and increase your balance by learning to balance on a balance board. It will seem impossible at first, but over time you will get better and better. Make sure you do it in a safe place, so if you lose your balance, you do not get hurt.
#88 – eat apples
You can eat them raw or cooked. Make homemade applesauce. Make apple strudel. Make apple crisp. Or have cinnamon baked apples on ice cream. Eat them sliced with caramel or peanut butter. Buy an apple peeler-corer-slicer. Watching the apple spin while a spiral of peel emerges brings fun and joy to processing the apples.
