#36 – drink beer with friends
Visit a local brewery with friends. Pick a variety you normally wouldn’t drink. Ales, IPAs, stouts, reds, hefeweizens, porters. There are endless styles of beer to try. Share inside jokes. Enjoy each other’s company. Cheers with friends.
#30 – sing
Sing in the shower. Sing in the car. Sing with friends. Even if you are out-of-tune, or don’t know all of the lyrics, don’t be afraid to sing.
#22 – say “i love you”
You know you want to. Let it out.
#20 – be courageous
Courage manifests itself in different ways. Stand up for yourself. Stand up for others.
#17 – smile at strangers
Chances are they will smile back.
#16 – be an organ donor
There is no reason not to do this. You could directly help save lives. You could also help scientific researchers find new treatments or cures for diseases, cancers, infections, et cetera. Make sure your family knows.
#13 – make eye contact
Make eye contact when you walk down the street. Make eye contact with people when you talk to them. Smile. Be humane.
#5 – shovel snow
It doesn’t matter if it’s not your sidewalk, not your car to dig out, or not your driveway. Be a good neighbor & help everyone in your area by shoveling some snow. It is very good exercise and satisfying work; you will feel so proud when you see the sidewalk you cleared.
#3 – mentor
Mentor a child, a young adult, a struggling neighbor. Helping others will teach you lessons about yourself.
