Get a library card for your local library. Find out what they offer. Many library networks offer more than just books to lend. You can often get media (movies, music, ebooks, etc), museum passes, internet access, access to community events, etc. Take advantage of this free resource.
Practice hanging and moving around on the monkey bars like a kid. Play! It has probably been years since you climbed up and hung by your arms, but try it. If you haven’t kept your weight down, and arm strength up, it will be hard. But if you look at it with all of the excitement of a child, you will have fun as you practice and get better.
Learn to parallel park your car. When you parallel park, make sure you aren’t too far from the curb. Make sure you are parked legally. Make sure you don’t leave too much space between you and the cars in front or behind you (only need to leave about 12″). It is okay to gently tap the bumpers of the cars in front or behind you, just don’t smash into them or do any damage. Practice makes perfect. You should be proud when you master this skill!
